The RAMAX INTERNATIONAL experts have developed the iNetBank software, which completely meets the main requirements to the Internet-banking applications and gives perspectives of rendering many bank services in the Internet. Actually, iNetBank is a virtual branch of a bank, where you can: obtain statements on accounts' status, transfer money, pay for municipal services or get currency exchange rates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The original motto of the system is the universal mobility principle, which means your ability to administer your funds from any place of the world, where you can get a computer with an access to the Internet, or telephone supporting WAP-protocol. As for today the iNetBank system includes several interconnected tasks, which in practice are implemented in different ways depending on a type of data link between a Bank and a client (Internet / WAP), and a spectrum of rendered services (subscribers payments against fixed properties / payments against arbitrary properties).
The iNetBank system structuring According to above, the access to the iNetBank system can be obtained from any device equipped with Web or WAP-browser, and access to the Internet global network. It can be a traditional desktop PC or notebook, personal digital assistant (PDA) or cellular phone with WAP-protocol. The system is made under the three-level structuring - "thin" client (browser), server of the application and server of DBMS in bank. The client part of the system consists of the standard Internet-browser or WAP-browser; thus client does not have to install any special client software. The authentification hardware is also not used: not being absolutely reliable it considerably reduces clients' mobility while increasing operating costs. Advantages of such a solution are obvious: a client is able to enter the system from any device regardless whether it is supplied with additional software or not. Another advantage is that a bank does not have to arrange client's software support (complexity of this task and costs related to its practical implementation are growing considerably when a number of clients grows). The communication part of iNetBank consists of the Web-server Apache and DB ZOPE. The ZOPE applications server works under the Linux operating system. Naturally, ZOPE is a resource for dynamic construction and processing of html-documents, where the tag-programming technology is broadly used. Besides that, the Java programming language was used for iNetBank development. Utilization of advanced technologies has provided a high degree of the NetBank system reliability and safety during on-line operations with users' accounts.
System opportunities A wide range of services can be rendered on the basis of on-line iNetBank system:
Accounts status functions.
Payments.
Currency Conversion.
Deposit accounts.
Credit cards operations.
Electronic commerce.
Search in the banks' directory.
Search in the exchange rate directory.
Communication functions.
Naturally, the work with the iNetBank system begins with user's identification and authentification procedures. The information safety system implemented in the iNetBank is based upon a multilevel protection principle, e.g. mere reviewing of exchange rates requires one level, however, transferring funds requires a different level - much more protected one. Safety System levels and safety resources are described below in more detail.
Safety iNetBank system is based on the latest achievements in a safe storage and transfer of data:
SSL technology - a standard solution of safety in the global Internet network, which is based on cryptography 128-bit algorithm RSA;
the mechanism of the unique digital certificate (ÑÀ);
